Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 11, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to any quote requests, reservations, purchases, delivery and installation services provided by Garden Sauna. Please read them carefully.

1) About us

“We”, “us” and “our” refers to the operator of the Garden Sauna website and business. “You” refers to the customer, website visitor, or buyer.

If you need to contact us, please use our contact form or request a quote via /quote.

2) Website information & product listings

Product images, descriptions, specifications and availability are provided for general information and may be updated. Colours and finishes can look different depending on lighting, camera, and display settings.

If a product page shows configuration options and add-ons, these are provided to help you understand available upgrades. The final specification and pricing will be confirmed in writing within your quote.

3) Quotes, reservations & orders

  • A quote request is not a confirmed order. Prices and lead times are confirmed once we review your specification and delivery location.
  • A reservation (if offered) may require a deposit. A reservation is only confirmed once we confirm receipt of payment and send you confirmation in writing.
  • We may refuse or cancel a quote/reservation if pricing errors occur, products become unavailable, or if we suspect misuse or fraud.

4) Pricing, payments & deposits

Pricing may vary depending on selected options, add-ons, delivery location, access requirements, installation scope, and supplier changes.

  • Deposits (where applicable) are used to secure production, materials, or allocation.
  • Any remaining balance is typically due before delivery/installation unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • If a payment schedule is agreed, it will be stated clearly in your quote or invoice.

5) Delivery & access requirements

Delivery dates are estimates and can be affected by production timelines, weather, or transport delays.

  • You must ensure safe and reasonable access for delivery. This includes adequate driveway/road access, suitable ground conditions, and any required permissions.
  • If access is restricted (e.g. narrow entrances, soft ground, steep slopes), you must inform us in advance so we can plan appropriately.
  • Additional equipment, labour, waiting time or failed delivery attempts may incur extra charges (we will inform you before proceeding where possible).

6) Installation (where included or purchased)

If installation is included or purchased as an add-on, it will be performed according to the agreed scope.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the site is prepared (base/foundation/level surface, utilities as required, safe working area).
  • Electrical or plumbing work (if needed) must be completed by appropriately qualified professionals unless explicitly included in your quote.
  • Any changes to the scope on-site may affect timing and price.

7) Materials, construction characteristics & natural wood behaviour

Our products are made from Scandinavian spruce or thermo-treated spruce (as specified per product). Wood is a natural material and may display characteristics that vary between units.

  • Not insulated: our saunas, summer cabins and camping houses are not insulated unless specifically stated otherwise in your quote.
  • Movement and deformation: wood can expand, shrink or slightly deform due to temperature, humidity and seasonal changes.
  • Moisture staining: due to the nature of wood and intermittent heating, dampness stains, mould marks or discoloration can occur in some environments if ventilation, drying and maintenance are not followed.

These natural characteristics do not typically affect the structural integrity of the unit and are not considered manufacturing defects.

8) Care, maintenance & customer responsibilities

To protect your product and extend its life, you must follow recommended usage and maintenance guidance (e.g., ventilation, drying, cleaning, surface protection, and safe operation of heaters).

Damage caused by lack of maintenance, misuse, incorrect installation, environmental extremes, pests, or unauthorised modifications is not covered by warranty.

9) Warranty

We provide:

  • 4-year warranty on wooden constructions.
  • 2-year warranty on heaters (manufacturer terms may also apply).

Warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults under normal use. It does not cover cosmetic changes from natural wood behaviour, wear-and-tear parts, or issues caused by improper maintenance, misuse, or external factors.

10) Cancellations, returns & refunds

Many of our products are made-to-order or configured to your specification. This can affect cancellation and return rights.

  • If you cancel after production has started or after a product has been allocated, a deposit may be non-refundable (or partially refundable) depending on supplier and logistics costs already incurred.
  • If a product is standard/off-the-shelf and eligible for return, this will be confirmed in writing and may be subject to collection fees and condition checks.
  • Refunds (where applicable) are processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval.

11) Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or delays outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to products/services will not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order (where permitted by law).

12) Customer communications

When you submit a quote request or contact form, we may contact you using the details you provide to respond and support your request. Marketing communications (if any) will only be sent where you have opted in or where permitted by law, and you can opt out at any time.

13) Intellectual property

Website content, branding, product photos and design materials are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
